The History, Current State and Tendency of International Energy Education Development

国际能源教育的兴起有其历史必然性。日益增长的能源需求和供应之间的矛盾使得能源危机四伏。国际社会经历了两次石油危机，并在现代化的过程中遍尝了能源使用带来的环境污染的苦果，使得国际社会对通过教育提高人的能源意识普遍重视。从20世纪70年代以来，国际能源教育发展方兴未艾，呈现出一些共同的特征和趋势，其经验对我国建设节约型社会具有借鉴意义。

The rise of international energy education has its historical inevitability. The contradiction between the growing energy demand and energy supply is very critical. The international society has experienced two oil crises， and has tasted the bitterness of environmental pollution as a result of energy use in the process of modernization. This makes the international society to recognize the importance of education in enhancing people’s energy awareness. Since the 1970s， the international energy education development has been on the rise， presenting some common characteristics and the tendency. Its experience is useful to constructing conservation─oriented society in our country.
