Changes in the Sizes and Structure of Graduate Education in the U.K

Through the analysis of the changes in the sizes and structure since 1990s， this article reflects that graduate education in the U.K. is more and more closely related to the job market. It reveals the impacts of the end of binary systems of higher education， notion of gender equality and the need of learning society on the development of graduate education in the U.K.， as well as the strategies for enlarging international students adopted by the British government and higher education institutions.
