Regional Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Diplomas and Degrees in Higher Education in Asia and the Pacific: Terms, Progresses and Problems

高等教育学历、文凭和学位相互承认问题，是高等教育国际化过程中面临的一个重要问题。本文从《亚太地区高等教育学历、文凭和学位相互承认地区公约》出发，介绍了该公约的主要内容及实施进展，并对公约的发展动向和实施中面临的问题进行了论述。

With the accelerating pace of internationalization of higher education， the problem of academic recognition has came out to be one of the main focal areas that needs to be addressed. This paper tries to conceptualize the case in Asia and Pacific region by reviewing the main terms in the Regional Convention on the Recognition of Studies， Diplomas and Degrees in Higher Education in Asia and the Pacific and the progress of its implementation. Some emerging areas are discussed for the future revision of the regional convention.
