中文摘要 | 本研究以一位深受建构主义理论影响的英语教师为调查对象,通过对教师的访谈和问卷调查、对学生的问卷调查以及调查者的听课记录来探讨和检验教师信念与实际教学的关系。调查结果表明教师的信念不仅高度影响其课堂实践,而且极大影响了学生对学习的兴趣。因此,教师要充分重视自己的教学信念,并意识到影响其信念的各种因素。教师还要不断反思自己的教学信念,更新自己的教学理念,不断探索先进的教学模式,从而优化教学过程。 |
英文摘要 | This paper reports a case study comparing the beliefs of a female English teacher who is strongly influenced by constructivism in her actual classroom practice. The study aims to explore the teacher's general understanding of beliefs, and her beliefs about herself, her students and their learning through the interview with the teacher. A questionnaire for the teacher is used to evaluate her awareness of her mediation role in class. Then the study investigates whether the teacher's beliefs are reflected in her actual classroom practice through the questionnaire for her students and the author's classroom observations. The results indicate that the teacher's beliefs not only influence her classroom practice, but also affect her students' interest in study. Therefore teachers should be fully aware of their beliefs and attach importance to those factors which would affect their beliefs. They should become reflective practitioners so as to optimize their teaching activities. |
