中文摘要 | 目前,我国外语教学界非常关注外语学习对学生思维能力的影响,然而很多外语课堂中的教学焦点是词汇和句式,而不是用外语进行思考。国外未成年人文学阅读及其教法注重对青少年学生语言思维能力的双重培养,对我国基础英语课外阅读有着一定的借鉴意义。尤其是在引导学生进行自主式阅读、培养良好读书习惯等方面业已形成的一些教学理念和操作范式对我国教师有一定的参照价值。如:阅读步骤的合理排序、心得交流的范围拓展、知识意义的科学建构、读者的角色与责任、培养语言思维能力的方法及检测工具等。本文认为,国外未成年人文学阅读作为6—12 年级的课外阅读实践与我国初、高中英语课外累积阅读新标准有很多对应点,是培养初、高中学生英语阅读与思维能力的有效手段。 |
英文摘要 | Presently, China's EFL teaching circle is very much concerned with the impact of EFL learning on Chinese students' thinking development, but the focus of many EFL classrooms is still vocabulary and syntax, not the power of thinking. The young adult literature (YAL) reading abroad and its methodology stress nurturing both students' linguistic ability and thinking power; thus they have important reference value to the scientific implementation of extra-curricular reading in our country's basic English education. Some teaching concepts and practice models are especially valuable in training students' reading autonomy and nurturing good reading habits such as the right sequence of reading steps, the expansion of reading exchanges, the construction of knowledge and meaning, the role and the responsibility of the reader, the methods of training language and thinking abilities, and the tools of monitoring the training progress. The paper points out: YAL reading abroad as the extra-curricular reading practice for the aged 12-18 has many similarities to our country's middle school students' extra-curricular reading. It therefore can be adopted or adapted to train students' English reading and thinking abilities. |
