Speech Production and Second Language Acquisition: A review

《言语产生与第二语言习得》(Kormos 2006)是一本关于言语产生研究的专著，该书对一语和二语言语产生研究现状及其与二语习得的接口进行了较为详尽、细致的梳理和总结。该书逻辑清晰、语言流畅；各章叙述不仅有理论介绍，更有实验结果佐证；不拘泥一家之言，在充分论述各派观点的基础上，进行理性批评，指出不足并提出建议。本文首先对该书的内容进行了简介，然后指出了该书存在的不足之处。

Speech Production and Second Language Acquisition (Kormos 2006) is a monograph on speech production， which summarizes in detail the status quo of L1 and L2 speech production studies， especially the interface of speech production and SLA. Its merits are obvious. First， the book is clear in its logics and wording. Moreover， it not only introduces to us the theories concerned， but also presents us the related experimental results as evidence for the theories. In addition， its arguments do not rigidly adhere to one theory or the other， but try to illustrate theories of different schools， followed by rational criticisms and suggestions. This review first briefly introduces the main idea of the book and then discusses some of its limitations.
