中文摘要 | 在社会建构主义理论的指导下,本文以问卷调查和访谈为主要研究方法,以我国西南地区三所地处边疆、不同民族生源较多的普通高校外语系青年教师为调查对象,试图调查以下三个问题:(1)青年教师对英语教与学的核心看法是什么?(2)随着实践经验的增加和各种因素的变化,教师的教学方法、方式发生了哪些变化?(3)造成这些变化的根源是什么?总的说来,研究表明,教师已有的信念在教师专业发展过程中有重要作用;英语教师的发展与改变具有动态性和相对性的特点;教师教学观念、思维方式以及课堂行为的变化等各种因素综合作用于教师教学方法、方式的变化过程。 |
英文摘要 | From the perspective of social constructivism, this study investigated young EFL teachers' beliefs about English teaching at the tertiary level and their changes in beliefs resulting from classroom teaching experiences over time, and aimed to clarify the main causes of these identified changes and link teachers' change and learning to the process of their professional development. The results indicated that teachers' existing beliefs exerted powerful influence on their process of change and professional development. Although the main subjects of the study were young university EFL teachers in southwest China, it was hoped that the findings could shed light on the conceptualization of teacher education programs and provide insights for future research into the development of many university EFL teachers as professionals in local areas. |
