英文摘要 | There are two narrators in the The Hundred Secret Senses: Olivia and Kwan. From the perspectives of Susan Lanser's narrative status, the thesis writer aims to argue that by granting authority to the two narrative points of view respectively Amy Tan establishes the authority of female narrative, which shows her intention of attaining the equal social position for the female and female writers and her desire to undermine the unfair definition and oppression of women in the biased patriarchal society. Through the establishment of female narrative authority, Amy Tan successfully sets up the male-privileged subjectivity for women in this phallocentric world. |
