Putting Technology to Work for Community Education in Shanghai

社区教育是实施终身教育，建设学习型社会的重要基础和途径。本文探讨了社区教育的内涵及其与学习型社区的关系，探讨了社区教育信息化建设的意义，并从服务平台建设和资源建设两方面叙述了社区教育信息化建设的理念和主要内容。在此基础上，分析了上海在推进社区教育信息化建设的现状和存在的不足，并提出了完善社区教育信息化的实施策略。

Community education is one of the most effective ways to achieve lifelong education，and it is the basis of a learning-oriented society. This paper discusses the meaning of community education and the significance of using technology in community education. The paper then analyzes the concept and main subject of technology use in community education from two perspectives: the building of technology platform and the provision of learning resources. The paper also closely examines the current status of community education in Shanghai，points out the existing problems，and recommends an implementation strategy for its improvement in community education.
