本文針對近年來我國遠程教育蓬勃發展的良好勢頭，以及日趨激烈的競爭態勢，提出遠程教育院校當審時度勢、從長計議和勤練內功，才能真正把握機遇、保持旺盛的生命力，實現事業的可持續發展。

Based on the rapid development and competition of distance education in China these years， the paper indicates that the colleges of distance education should observe the special condition， have good foundation and catch hold of opportunities， then realize the continuable development.
