英文摘要 | University appraisal in Japan has gone through a three─stage development:self─appraisal, exterior appraisal and accreditation appraisal. At the same time, the debate over this issue has never ended in the academic circle, focusing on “why to appraise” (teleology), “who to appraise(subject), “appraise what”(object) and “how to appraise”(methodology). A knowledge of the development and debate of Japanese university appraisal would be a great help to ponder upon China’s university appraisal thoroughly. |
