英文摘要 | There is significant variation in the structure and quality of undergraduate medical education around the world. Accreditation processes can encourage institutional improvement and help promote high-quality education experiences. This paper provides an overview of medical school accreditation processes in countries around the world, highlighting variations by region. These baseline data about current worldwide accreditation practices are indispensable for further studies on relations between accreditation processes and educational outcomes. |
