The Devotion of the University to the Development of National Economy and Society: Case Study of Technology Transfer on Maryland University and California University

知识经济时代大学的作用更为直接的体现为促进生产力的增长，大学对国民经济和社会发展最直接的贡献就是把大学的高新技术投入企业，即大学的科技成果转化，国外通常称为技术转移。本文通过马里兰和加州大学的技术转移成果分析大学对国民经济和社会发展的贡献。

In knowledge economy era， the function of university directly shows to promote productive growth. The direct effect of the university is to transfer high-tech to enterprises， so called the university transfer of scientific and technological achievement. It is usually also called technology transfer abroad. In this paper， the technology transfer of the Maryland university and California University are studied and analyzed， and obtained the contribution of the university on the development of national economy and society.
