“大学精神”语义的实证分析

Positive Semantic Analysis to “The Spirit of University”

“大学精神”作为一个新词在使用中有泛化现象，存在概念与逻辑混乱。本文运用自定义的与义场理论，对近期报刊媒体上使用的”大学精神”一词进行分析，得出”大学精神”语义可分为代名词、类概念、个性化义群三个层级的结论，并将大学精神定义为关于大学发展的价值取向及其在大学设置与运行中的体现，以其有助于”大学精神”的语义规范，便于人们明晰与理解”大学精神”。

As a new word， there are trend of generality when people use “the spirit of university”. Some confusion in logic and conception comes out occasionally. Using the “self-defined” method in semantic field theory to analyze “the spirit of university” used on recent newspaper， journal and other media， we can get the conclusion that “the spirit of university” might be classified to three stratums， that is: substitute words， category conception， individualized meaning groups， and it can be defined as a value choice about the university development and the embodiment in its establishment and operation， which may help to normalize the conception of “the spirit of university”.
