英文摘要 | Multimodal discourse analysis makes it possible for researchers to investigate into learners’ performance beyond transcribed texts;therefore, a multimodal corpus of oral English for Chinese Science and Engineering Majors can be constructed based on such annotation parameters as pronunciation, vocabulary, syntax, discourse coherence, and non-linguistic features. With such a corpus, the oral proficiency of this repertoire of students may be analyzed in an all-round way, which helps provide feedback to enhance oral English classroom instruction as well as students’ after-class learning autonomy. |
