Analysis on the Research and Developing Trends of Design in Education

戴维．梅里尔教授是教育技术领域的著名学者，第二代教学系统设计的领军人物。文章回顾了梅里尔教授 40余年研究工作的轨迹，对其研究成果进行梳理和评述，以期更深入地了解梅里尔教授的研究工作，对我国当前教育技术的发展有所启发。

Design is a unique thinking and creative activity of human being. Its nature， which is particularly in line with the nature of education whose supreme goal is to make people better and better， is to refine things from existing state to a better one. As design is a natural attributes of education， in order to broaden the research horizons of the design in education and make a bigger progresses of it in the direction of rational evolution， the nowadays research of educational design urgently needs to break through the conventional study which confined to the area of educational planning and instructional design， and use new research results and design science for reference.
