The empirical study of classification of high education institutions--perspective from the analysis of 94 institutions

如何对高等学校进行科学分类，从而实现分类指导、分类发展是教育管理部门、高校和学者关注的焦点，也是实现高等教育可持续发展的重要内容。本文试图通过教育部直属和地方共建的94所高校的分类研究来探讨高等学校的分类标准，进而引导不同层次、不同类型的高等学校进行科学定位。

How to classify high education institutions scientifically and lead them develop according to their different types， is concerned by many scholars and governors， and it’s also the key to realize the sustainable development of high education. This paper try to find the classification standard of high education institutions by the classification analysis of 94 institutions which are the best institutions in China.
