现代学术制度（研究体制）的历史应追溯到早期的学会组织，它在特定的社会环境和文化氛围中，于大学之外形成了职业与近似职业性的研究团体，发觉了科学，并探索出来一系列的研究资助、评审、成果发表和入职资格标准等规范，为后期国家乃至大学内部的研究体制的确立奠定了基础。

The history of modern academic system（research system）can be traced back to the early academic guild. It is a system emerged from specific social and cultural contexts. It involved the formation of professional and semi-professional research organizations， the discovery of science， and the establishment of a range of standards concerning research sponosorship， evaluation， publication and qualification. Academic system has laid a foundation for the development of national and institutional research system in later times.
