中文摘要 | 冷战后,国际冲突仍然不断,文明冲突论获得了广泛的关注。为了人类社会的和平,促进不同文明与文化间的对话成为必然的要求。价值观是文化的核心,寻求不同文化、不同信仰间共同认可的价值观是达成文明与文化对话的基础。20世纪90年代以来,以联合国教科文组织、全球伦理基金会等为代表的一些政府间组织和非政府组织共同倡导和推动了旨在达成文明与文化间理解的寻求共同价值观的行动,并通过教育传播共同价值观的理念。共同价值观具有明显的致力于解决国际冲突和社会冲突的现实取向,而不是学理上的构建。尽管文明冲突论存在争论,但寻求共同价值观以达成文化间理解的行动应该得到肯定;同时,也须认识到,共同价值观也存在局限,冲突的根源可能并不一定简单的就是文化差别,意识形态的和利益的冲突仍是不可忽视的原因。 |
英文摘要 | After the Cold War, international conflicts still continue. The view of Clash of Civilizations has been widely recognized. For the peace of human society, promoting dialogue among civilizations and cultures has become an inevitable requirement. Values are the core of culture. Seeking common values of different civilizations and cultures is the basis for inter-cultural and interfaith dialogue. Since the 1990s, some intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations like UNESCO and The Global Ethic, have advocated and facilitated the actions of seeking common values, which aims to reach understanding among civilizations and cultures, and have disseminated the idea of common values through education. Common values, rather than doctrinal construction, are obviously practice-oriented, aiming to solve international and social conflicts. Regarding the theory of Clash of Civilizations, although there are still debates, the actions of seeking common values to reach inter-cultural understanding should be encouraged. However, it has to be recognized that there are limitations in regard to common values. The root causes of conflicts may not necessarily be cultural difference, but ideology and interests. |
