Constructing a Supportive Platform for Meaningful Learning：A Reflection on Developing Instructional Materials for the National Excellent Curriculum of
The aim of the course of Instructional Design is to inform the learners of the modern theories and schools in the field of modern instructional and training design and enable them to master the general procedures and strategies of designing instruction and training. It cannot be achieved without effective instructional approaches and learning resources that can meet various learners’ demands. Instructional materials serve as an indispensable platform for promoting meaningful learning and cultivating creativity. Diversity and choice of instructional materials are key features of university courses in the information era, which is also an urgent necessity for cultivating high-quality talents with problem-solving skills and creativity. It is the benchmark for the instructional materials developed for Instructional Design to be approved by our peers and effective in practice. Meanwhile, the constructing of the web-based learning platform, the innovation of classroom instruction, and the application of research achievements have greatly enriched and upgraded the development of the instructional materials.
