教育在不断地发展，对教育的看法也在不断地更新。我们通常所使用的一些教育术语，在不同的国家社会、在不同的历史时期、在不同的文化背景、在不同的语言情境中，其含义有很大的差异。该文主要对一些常用的教育术语如教育、教育理论、课程论、教育哲学、教育思潮等概念进行了比较和分析。从教育是一种社会现象，到教育是一种人权；从教育理论的建立，到课程论的扩展；从教育哲学的思考，到教育思潮的涌现，我们可以看到，这些教育术语已不再是我们以前所认识的概念。

Education is developing and the views on education changes now and then. Some educational terms we use have very different meanings in different countries and societies， histories， and cultures. This paper compares and analyzes some educational terms in common use such as education， education theory， curriculum theory， education philosophy， education thoughts etc. From education as a phenomenon to as a human right， from the establishment of educational theory to the expansion of curriculum theory， from the reflection on education philosophy to the emergence of education thoughts， we can see some educational terms are not the same conceptions as we knew before.
