開發中國家教育與經濟發展、人口成長的關係

Research of the Correlation among Education, Per Capita Income, and the Ratio of Population in Developing Countries

為瞭解開發中國家教育與經濟、人口成長之間的關係。本研究以多元迴歸分析檢定1970、1980、1990、1996年，開發中國家之教育，與經濟成長、人口成長之間的關係。結果發現：第一、在前述四個年度中，開發中國家，中等教育在學率，與國民所得、人口成長，各有正向及負向顯著關係。第二、在前述四個年度中，開發中國家，高等教育在學率，與國民所得、人口成長，，各有正向及負向顯著關係。第三、在前述四個年度中，開發中國家，教育經費占國民生產毛額比率，與國民所得、人口成長，各沒有正向及負向顯著關係。

The main purpose of this study to analyze and understand the relationships among education， per capita income， and the ratio of population on developing countries in 1970， 1980， 1990， and 1996. By using the multiple regression model， the results are as follows: First， the per capita income and the ratio of population are positive and negative significant with the enrollment ratio of secondary education in 1970， 1980 ， 1990， 1996; secondly， the per capita income and the ratio of population positively and negatively significantly increased the enrollment ratio of higher education in 1970， 1980， 1990， 1996; thirdly， the per capita income and the ratio of population did not positively or negatively significantly cause public expenditure on education as % of GDP in 1970， 1980， 1990，1996.
