日治時期臺灣的季節保育園的歷史演進和影響

The Seasonal Nursery Schools in Taiwan During the Japanese Rule Period

本文主要目的在敘述日治時期臺灣的季節保育園發展的歷程、設置的目的，並說明與分析季節保育園的保育活動。本文主要透過日治時期相關歷史文獻，以臺中州季節保育園作為探討與分析的焦點。本研究發現臺灣的季節保育園始於1933年，是整個日治時期臺灣幼兒教育發展的重要章節，由於開設持續的時間為期3週，可說成臨時措施，係為了增加農業生產所設。就季節保育園發展的歷程來看，到了昭和年間臺中州季節保育園，已有現時所稱學前教育機構的雛形；季節保育園的經費來自社會事業團體，這些事業團體全為官方所設，可算是官方的社會福利事業，但由於是臨時措施，經常出現保姆與助手人手不足的問題。

This study aimed to explore the seasonal nursery schools in Taiwan during the Japanese rule period and their development process and the purpose of setting up and analyze the education and care activities of the seasonal nursery schools. This study primarily focused on the Taichung seasonal nursery schools by analyzing relevant historical documents during the Japanese rule period. Taiwan's seasonal nursery schools were set up to increase agricultural production. From the perspective of their development, , the Taichung seasonal nursery school had the embryonic form of what is now called a preschool education institution by the Showa period. The seasonal nursery schools were funded by social organizations, which were all officially established. It is not an exaggeration to describe this as an official social welfare program. The Taichung seasonal nursery schools started in 1933, and these schools lasted for 3 weeks in operating time. As a temporary measure, it encountered the problem of a shortage of nurses and assistants.
