英文摘要 | The magnet high school of mathematics, science and technology (MST) in America is based on the theme of mathematics, science and technology. It is selected high school or a school of excellence aiming to attract outstanding students in mathematics, science and technology. There are four types of its curriculum:compulsory course, elective course, internship and Advanced Placement Courses. All these curriculums are divided into three categories:languages, humanities and social sciences and mathematics, science and technology. The kind of curriculum setting gives consideration to the uniform standards and school autonomy and it has other distinctive characteristics like the integration of academic depth and breadth; the connection of academic nature and occupational nature. It embodies the educational philosophy of pursuing equality and excellence and the spirit of individualized instruction. |
