On the First-Class Undergraduate Teaching in the Construction of First-Class Universities in Mainland China
With the introduction of the construction of first-class universities, first-class undergraduate courses have also become the focus of discussion. Although different scholars question and support the two attitudes of the first-class undergraduate construction, combined with the many practical problems existing in the undergraduate teaching of higher education, this study believes that first-class undergraduate education is a necessary condition for the construction of first-class universities. At the same time, research universities and local applied universities are the main subjects of first-class undergraduate education. On this basis, the construction of “golden class” is the focus of current first-class undergraduate education practice. This research is based on the undergraduate teaching philosophy and teaching practice of different universities, from curriculum content, teaching methods, teacher strength and external protection.
