The Development and Validation of Psychological Well-Being Scale of Technological and Vocational College Students
The main purposes of this study were to develop psychological well-being scale of technological and vocational college students, confirm college students’ psychological well-being measurement model. A Questionnaire survey was conducted with 1560 college students. The obtained data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis and cross-validation. Statistical analysis yielded the following results. First, the fit of single second-order factor and six first-order factor for college students’ psychological well-being measurement model was acceptable. Second, cross-validation of college students’ psychological well-being measurement model was confirmed. Third, the psychological well-being was significantly positively associated with life satisfaction and positive affect, was significantly negative associated with negative affect of college students. Based on these results, implication for promotion of technological and vocational college students’ psychological well-being and future research were discussed.
