Study of Multiple Intelligences integration of a visual arts education program

本研究為視覺藝術教師統整多元智能理論與全面性藝術教育觀點，進行兼具學科特質、文化意涵，並與生活結合，統整藝術創作、美學、藝術史與藝術欣賞四大範疇之「多元視覺藝術教學方案」，在兒童視覺藝術教育中心所進行的質性個案研究。主要研究目的在於探究「多元視覺藝術教學方案」的教學歷程與學童的學習經驗。作者除了從理論的觀點討論新的視覺藝術教育思潮外，也從實務經驗與相關理論互相印證，所獲致之總結論包括：一、多面向的藝術學習途徑，能幫助兒童理解知識；二、多元化的藝術教學，能增進兒童學習藝術的興趣 ；三、教師能在多元視覺藝術教學方案的學習歷程中，發掘兒童的優勢智能。

In this article, the authors first introduce the theory of multiple intelligences and explore the importance of young children‘s Art Education. In this qualitative case study, the authors focus on exploring young children’s visual Art Education curriculum from the Comprehensive Approach to Art Education and Multicultural Discipline-based Art Education curriculum theory, together with Multiple Intelligences theory. The findings include (1)Various learning styles in Art Education can stimulate children’s understanding of knowledge ; (2) Multiple methods of art teaching can increase children’s interest in art learning; (3) Art teachers can discover children’s gifted domain of intelligence by assessing their works within the art learning experience.
