A Study on the Relationships among Principals' Positive Leadership, Appreciative Inquiry and Teachers' Hope in Elementary Schools

本研究旨在調查國民小學校長正向領導、肯定式探詢與教師希望感的關係，在研究方法上採用問卷調查法，並編製「國民小學校長正向領導、肯定式探詢策略與教師希望感調查問卷」，研究對象為568 位臺灣地區國民小學教育人員。本研究以結構方程模式驗證校長正向領導、肯定式探詢與教師希望感的關係，結果獲得一個具良好適配度的影響關係模式。研究結果顯示校長正向領導、肯定式探詢與教師希望感之現況良好，三者之間具相關性，且影響關係模式適配度良好。雖然校長正向領導對於教師希望感有顯著之直接影響效果；但是當校長正向領導透過肯定式探詢之中介作用能對教師希望感產生更大的影響，其影響效果也相對提高許多。本研究建議學校校長宜實施正向領導並運用肯定式探詢，進而提升教師希望感。

The study empirically investigates the relationships among principals' positive leadership, appreciative inquiry, and teachers' hopes. The survey targets are elementary school educators from all over Taiwan. The study issued 886 questionnaires in total, with a return rate of 64.1%, of which 568 questionnaires were valid. Teachers were asked to measure the effectiveness of positive leadership, appreciative inquiry, and teachers' hope. This study used structural equation modeling with prospective data to test for model fit. The findings indicate that principals' positive leadership positively affects appreciative inquiry. Furthermore, appreciative inquiry affects teachers' hope. Principals' positive leadership also positively influences the hopes of their teachers. The results suggest that principals should implement positive leadership to accelerate appreciative inquiry in school operations in order to improve overall teachers' hope.
