EFL Teacher Education in Call Perspectives--A Review on Teacher Education in CALL

外语教师教育是外语教学中的关健问题之一, 本文通过对《CALL 环境下的教师教育》一书的评析, 展示了国外CALL 环境下教师教育的模式。职后教师发展的途径等方面的理论和实践成果, 探讨了现代教师发展的环境。教师发展与CALL 的关系, 认为CALL 应该作为外语教师教育中的一种重要的途径和内容, 希望此书对国内的外语教师教育有所帮助。

Teacher education is one of the core issues in EFL teaching. The article, on the basis of the review of Teacher Education in CALL, displays the models of foreign CALL teacher education, and the theoretical and practical achievements of the in-service teacher development in terms of the approach. It also investigates the modern teacher education environment and the relations between teacher development and CALL. The author argues that CALL, as the educational reality, should be one major approach and content in Teacher Education and hopes that the article can provide some enlightenments for EFL teacher education at home.
