The Reform of Botswana's Secondary Education in the Process of the Millennium Development Goals

联合国千年发展目标对非洲国家的基础教育产生了积极的影响。其中，博茨瓦纳是 撒哈拉以南非洲国家中基础教育发展最好的国家之一。博茨瓦纳以中等教育改革为重点推动基 础教育千年目标的进程。其改革措施包括:通过建立多元化的教育体制，加大对教育的投入;通 过基础教育课程的改革，解决政策的适切性和课程设置的合理化等。同时，博茨瓦纳中等教育的 发展也存在着一些困境和挑战。

The United Nations Millennium Development Goals produced positive influence on the basic education in the whole African countries. Botswana is one of Sub-Saharan Airica which had the best basic education.. In the process of the millennium development goals， in order to promote the reform of the basic education， Botswana prioritized the reform of secondary education to promote the basic education reform and has obtained significant effect. Through the establishment of the diversification of the educational system， to enlarge the investment on the education; through the basic education curriculum reform to address the aptness of policy and the rationalization of the curriculum and so on. However， in the process of the Millennium Development Goals， the rle-velopment of secondary education in Botswana still have some certain troubles and challenges.
