Dao of Sheng-Sheng ： The Theoretical Basis of the Pre-Qin Confucian Edificatory Philosophy： The Study Based on Zhong Yong

Based on the logic of connecting life， nature， Dao and education， Zhong Yong (The Doc- trine of the Mean) elucidates the meaning of education. The root of the education is Dao， and the root of Dao is the human nature. Human nature is the fundamental regulation of human beings， and its essence is Tianming (heaven-endowed nature). Tianming is one part of Tiandao (the way of nature) ， and Tianming isTiandao. Tian (heaven) creates human beings and Tiandao is what human nature originally has， so the manifestation of human nature implies the operation of Tiandao . Nature and man is united， so as the fun- damental mechanism of the operation of universal life . Tiandao determines the generation and growth of human?s natural life and the meaning realization of human?s moral life. This inherent mechanism consti- tutes the theoretical basis of the Pre-Qin Confucian edificatory philosophy， Dao of Sheng-Sheng. The theo- retical foundation of Dao of Sheng-Sheng is the reality of Tiandao. The life value pursuit of its editicatory philosophy s the integrity of nature and right， the grasp of the essentials rather than trifles， the comple- tion of oneseff and others and the ceaselessness of Sheng-Sheng. The fundamental methodological basis of Sheng-Sheng s the mutual advance of Cheng (sincerity) and Ming (intelligence). On this basis， the appli- cation of ts methodology s further implemented as the real experience of the meaning of individual life in daily use and the self-development of inner vitality.
