英文摘要 | This paper focus on the narrative structure and offer a narrative analysis ofthe novel “The Last Night of Taipan Chin” by Pai Hsien-yung, a famous Chinese writer, in 1960s, included in the collection of novels “Taipei People”. The analysis begins by examining narrative issues on methods of how to narrate and what to narrate and is supported by a series of the structural narrative analysis. This analysis take “The Last Night of Taipan Chin” as a text, important concepts in Gérard Genette's narratology are examined with the narrations. |
