A Study on the Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Chinese Reading in Grade 8 Students
依据《义务教育语文课程标准（2011 年版）》，编制了八年级语文试题，对某地区10607 名八年 级学生进行了学业水平测试，同时对参加测试的学生进行了问卷调查。本研究力图用实证的方式分析该地八年 级学生语文阅读水平的现状，通过多元线性回归探讨影响学生阅读水平的因素。研究结果显示：（1）某地八年 级学生语文阅读水平达标率为81%，城市学校学生语文阅读水平达标情况明显优于县镇、农村学校学生，非留 守儿童达标情况普遍优于农村留守儿童。女生达标情况优于男生。（2）阅读策略、自我效能、学习兴趣、师生 关系对学生阅读成绩都会产生影响。其中，自我效能、阅读策略的影响更明显。
Based on compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard (2011 Edition)， this study developed the Chinese test for eighth-grade， 10607 eighth-grade students took this test. Meanwhile， these students were surveyed using a questionnaire. This study tries to use the empirical way to analyze the eighth-grade students’ present situation of Chinese reading level， to investigate the factors that impact students' reading level through multiple linear regression. The results show that: (1) The pass percent of Chinese reading level in eighth grade is 81%. Urban students in Grade eight performed better than rural students. Rural left-behind students scored lower than those living together with their parents. Girls were better than boys. (2)The students’ Reading strategies， Self-efficacy， Learning interest and their relationship with the teachers affected their reading achievement. The eighth-graders were affected more by Self-efficacy and Reading strategies.
