| 英文摘要 | Empirical research has been greatly advocated in China's current educational research tield . It seems that there is a tendency for one research paradigm to replace another paradigm, and the educational normative investigation has been severely challenged and even denied. Fundamentally, research is a sys- tematic, critical inquiry for the purpose of advancing knowledge, and the particularity of any individual study depends on the nature of research object. Education is a constantly evolving practice that points to the future, full of creativity and ideals. It always orientates towards the perfection of humanity, as well as the human body and mind itself. Therefore, educational research not only includes empirical research, which explores experiential facts and evidence in education, but also includes normative investigation, which inquires, interprets and defends educational values. Educational research needs to get rid of the su- perstition of "Methodism" and establish sel--confidence in academic research. Educational researchers need to improve their knowledge and literacy of methodologies and logical thinking. |
