英文摘要 | This paper probes into the structure and exercise of power within universities from the perspective of Social Network Analysis. Firstly, the study analyzes the power structure with centrality, describes the distribution of power and the core of power among unive rsity departments, and describes the exercise of power with density, average distance and cohesion index. Then, it calculates university performance with the "Input -Output" method. Finally, the study explores the relationship between the core of power, the exercise of power and university performance. The findings are summarized as follows: the lower the core of power is, the higher the university performance is; the better the power exercises, the higher the university performance is. The study may provide valuable references for the improvement of internal power structure within universities. |
