英文摘要 | Based on the Social Domain Theory, this study investigated 49405 primary and secondary school students to explore the development of children’s moral development. The research results showed that: 1) In the social conventional domain, the judgments of the students from grade 3 to grade 12 kept stable with the growth of their grades; 2) Students’ judgments of personal issues tended to be less consistent with the mainstream social expectations; 3) Students’ moral judgment exhibited a U-shape pattern with age and the students in grade 6-7 were at the lowest level. In terms of the results, we recommended that moral education should pay attention to the periodic and domain-specific characteristics of children’s moral development. We also suggested that moral educators instruct students to learn to discriminate the nature of the moral, conventional, and personal issues. |
