Research on Student’s Right to Appeal in Higher Education Institutions

Student’s right to appeal is a specific form of right to appeal provided by the Constitution. Its existence is not only based on a solid legal rationale， but also more adapted to Chinese cultural tradition and student management practices in higher education institutions. To guarantee student’s right to appeal in higher education institutions， it is imperative to improve student’s appeal system by scope expansion， regulation refinement， organizational enhancement and the introduction of accountability， to develop student organizations， and to nurture a culture of rights.
