福利服務使用對高齡者健康狀況與生活滿意度影響之研究

The Impact of Using Social Welfare Services toward the Elders’ Perception of health conditions and life satisfaction

本研究主要在瞭解使用福利服務後對老人健康狀況和生活滿意度的影響情形，研 究對象為年滿65 歲以上的長者，資料來源為2013 年臺閩地區老人狀況調查（Report of the Senior Citizen Condition Survey 2013）原始資料，共計有2，898 個樣本。研究結果 顯示，影響老人自覺健康狀況的因素為年齡、教育程度、經濟狀況、健康維護措施和 生活照顧措施，年齡愈大、使用生活照顧措施的老人，自覺健康情形愈差。影響老人 生活滿意度的因素為性別、年齡、教育程度、有無伴侶、經濟狀況、生活照顧措施和 教育休閒與社會參與活動，男性、年齡愈大、使用生活照顧措施的老人，對生活滿意 度會愈低。整體來說，影響老年人對生活滿意的最重要因素為自覺健康狀況，其次才 是經濟狀況，而使用福利服務措施對老年人的晚年生活影響並不大，但仍可讓我們瞭 解使用這些服務的老年人目前的生活狀況。

This study focuses on examining the elders’ perception of health conditions and life satisfaction after using social welfare services. By secondary data analysis， there are 2，898 aged 65+ cases being selected from the Senior Citizen Condition Survey， 2013. The result reveals that， first， the elder’s perception of health conditions was influenced by age， educational qualification， financial conditions， health maintenance services and life care services. It shows that the older or using life care services individuals appeared worse perception for their health conditions. Second， regarding to the elder’s life satisfaction， the influential factors include sex， age， educational qualification， having partners or not， financial conditions， life care services and social participation activities. The male， older or using life care services ones appeared worse perception toward their health conditions. Above all， the most important factor to determine the elders’ life satisfaction is the perception of health conditions， the second is financial conditions; however， using the social welfare services had less impacts upon their condition. The above findings could help to gain more understanding of the elders’ life conditions.
