英文摘要 | Chinese government has put forward Special Education Promotion Plan (2014-2016) in 2014, which clearly encourages places where condition permits to establish autistic special schools (departments) for children and adolescents with autism. Educational placement for children with autism thus be- comes a focus of attention in the academic tield of special education. This paper reviewed the development of educational placement for children with autism at home and abroad, and drew a conclusion that other countries have been trying to provide diverse ways of educational placement and encourage involvement of diverse education providers to meet the complex educational needs of children with autism. Autistic special schools (departments) , as a way of diverse educational placement, aim to satisfy the diverse educational needs of children with autism at intermedium and higher levels. At last, this paper provides some suggestions for our country to improve diverse educational placement for children with autism. |
