现代科学主义认识论转向与教育生活的知识化转型，引发教育对哲学的游离，并导致现代教育哲学的深层危机。社会生产对知识和知识人的单向度依赖下，知识取代人成为教育的核心主题，进而形成对教育中道德理性和人性的显性压抑。教育游离哲学的本质是教育与人的分离。知识本身没有改变社会运行的道德基础，人性完善仍是教育活动的首要目的，也是构建知识社会生活秩序的基石。无论社会形态如何发展变化，教育与人的关系始终是教育哲学的根本问题。教育哲学的终极命题是思考教育何以为善，教育的善就是在教育活动中实现人的善。
