英文摘要 | Several generations of Indian leaders declared social equity and justice as one of the major objectives for which they would strive, and the resei Tation policy for weaker sections is considered an important strategy to realize this objective. More than 60 years after independence ? through the performance of the reservation policy, great changes have been made in education of the weaker sections. But due to the strong resistance from upper classes, the reservation policy has caused a lot of severe social unrest, and the result of its implementation is not satisfactory. The comprehensive and effective implementation of the reservation policy needs more efforts from all walks of life in India. |
