英文摘要 | Wang Xing-gong provides a lot of inspirations for improving university quality today. With over ten years, Wang Xinggong succeeded in turning Wuhan University into a first-class one in China. To achieve the goah Wang determined the university's value orientation on a scientific basis, sought social improvement through academic independence,and took a hands-off approach to university governance. He adhered to the freedom of teachings resisting political interference with education with a variety of ingenious ways,and making academic freedom and academic tolerance his bottom line. Peaceful,honest, and upright, he repelled all kinds of interference with school development. He set an example with his respect for faculty members and love for students. |
