本文用经济学的视角和分析方法并通过国际比较来探讨中国大学的治理改革问题。文章首先从 六个维度分析和比较大学治理的美国模式和欧洲模式，然后分三个阶段描述近代中国大学的治理状况。在此 基础上，文章提出在中国建立现代大学治理的改革建议。

This article explores the issue of university governance reform in China in international and comparative perspectives. It first analyzes and compares in six dimensions the American model and the European model of university governance. It then outlines the historical evolution of university governance in China in modern times in three stages. Finally the article makes a reform proposal in establishing modern university governance in China.
