A Pilot Study and Requirement Modeling of Dialogue Agent System for Computer Fatigue Prevention Based on Transtheoretical Model

現今是一個電腦作業頻繁的世代，人們常因錯誤的姿勢或過度操作而產生電腦作業疲勞症候群。為減緩日益嚴重的疲勞損傷問題，許多疲勞防護軟體被發展出來，主要係藉由提醒使用者採取適當的休息舒展來減緩疲勞的發生。實證研究結果顯示，使用者若能配合疲勞防護軟體的提示，進行正確的疲勞舒緩活動，將可有效達到疲勞防護之效果。但使用者若不能信任防護軟體或不願意配合，疲勞防護軟體將無用武之地。本前導研究嘗試將跨理論模式（Transtheoretical Model, TTM）的行為改變階段及各階段所運用的處置策略，導入電腦疲勞防護過程，並應用對話代理人需求塑模方法（Dialog Agent Requirements Modeling, DARM），探究如何建立具使用者心智模式感知以及能夠配合使用者行為改變階段調整處置策略之口語對話代理人需求模型。

Prolonged work in computer has become widespread, many people always apply computer by wrong posture or operation extremes and put themselves at risk for developing computer syndrome. To reduce this problem, a lot of fatigue protection software had been developed. Most of the software use the windows alert and stretch reminder to remind users to take periodic breaks and to perform stretches during work to reduce fatigue and the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). Recent researches have shown that fatigue protection software would be effective, but only if users believe and fit themselves in the work pacing suggested by the software. In this pilot study, we attempted to introduce the Transtheoretical Model (TTM) into the computer fatigue prevention process and to explore the building of the requirements model of a dialog agent for the computer fatigue prevention by the Dialog Agent Requirements Modeling (DARM) methodology. The dialogue agent is able to be aware of the user,s mental model and trace the stages of user,s behavior change, so as to give the most appropriate treatment according to the TTM.
