The Relationship Between Academic Supervisor Leadership and Creativity of Postgraduates: Linear or Curvilinear?

学术导师领导力是影响研究生创造力的一个重要因素。基于相关理论，提出和回答关于学术导师 领导力与研究生创造力关系状态的研究问题。曲线拟合和等级回归分析677 个样本数据的结果显示：学术 导师领导力与创造力曲线相关，是正U 型曲线关系。研究发现弥补相关理论的缺失，为学术导师领导实践和 高等院校创新教育管理提供切实的参考。

Academic supervisor leadership is one of the significant factors influencing creativity of postgraduates. Based on the related theories， the research reported in this paper raises and probes into the question on the relationship between academic supervisor leadership and creativity of postgraduates. The study employs curve estimation and hierarchical regression to analyze data collected from 677 postgraduates. The results demonstrate a curvilinear (U -shaped) relationship between academic supervisor leadership and creativity of postgraduates. The findings fill the research gaps of related theories， and provide a valuable reference for leadership practice of academic supervisors and creativity management of high education.
