从数学教育看中英差异——英国国家教学与领导力学院项目专家Joyce Mattews 专访

编者按： 2014 年2 月英国教育部副部长伊丽莎白·特鲁斯访问中国，并提出在中英人 文交流机制中增设“英格兰- 上海数学教师交流项目”，2014 年4 月两国政府签署了《中国 上海市教育委员会与英国教育部关于数学教师交流的谅解备忘录》，开启了本项目，并委托 上海师范大学国际与比较教育研究院实施。本项目包括“英国教师来上海交流”和“上海 教师到英国交流”两方面。2014 年9 月23 日-10 月3 日，首批72 位英国数学教师在上海 师范大学接受培训，并到30 多所小学进行深入交流。交流结束后，英国数学教师对上海的 基础教育交口称赞，英国泰晤士报等知名媒体也进行了相关报道。11 月2 日，30 位上海数 学教师赴英国，在英国本土交流上海数学教学经验。2015 年将开展中学阶段的中英数学 教师交流。本项目是我国第一个由发达国家提供全部经费、由发达国家派人员来上海学习 中国教育经验的项目，在中国的国际教育交流与合作史上地位非凡。英国数学教师在沪交 流期间，本刊记者就中英数学教育差异、中英教育制度差异等问题对其带队专家之一Joyce Mattews 女士进行了访谈。 作者简介： Joyce Mattews 是英国知名的教师专业发展专家，也是这次跟随英国教师团 队来上海的成员之一，任职于英国国家教学与领导力学院。她拥有超过27 年的教育从业经 历，其中14 年在中学任教，Joyce 参与支持的教师培训项目包括英国国家数学教学卓越中心 的“中英数学教师交流项目”、英国国家教学与领导学院的“日本校长领导力发展项目”等。 记者简介：刘菁菁/ 上海师范大学教育学院比较教育专业硕士研究生（上海 200234）

In February 2014， Elizabeth， Britain's deputy minister of education paid a visit to China， making a suggestion for establishing ＂England-Shanghai Mathematics Teacher Exchange Program＂ set.in the Sino-British cultural exchange mechanism. In April 2014， the project started after the “Memorandum of Understanding of Shanghai Education Committee and UK Ministry of Education on Mathematics Teacher Exchange” was signed by two governments， entrusting the project’s implementation to the Research Institute of International and Comparative Education of Shanghai Normal University. This project includes ＂English teachers visit in Shanghai ＂ and ＂Shanghai teachers visit in Britain ＂ .From September 23， 2014 to October 3，2014， the fi rst batch of 72 British mathematics teachers exchanged in Shanghai， receiving training at Shanghai Normal University. British teachers were deeply impressed by Shanghai basic education， and the Times and other wellknown media carried on the related reports on that exchange. On November 2 2014， 30 Shanghai mathematics teachers started visiting UK， making exchange of teaching experience with local teachers. In 2015， the project will start a mathematics teacher exchange at secondary school level between China and UK.
