Adaptive E-Learning is a new trend of the development of the E-Learning， and Adaptive E-Learning system stands for the new trend of the E-Learning system. This paper firstly introduced the development history of the adaptive E-Learning system and the typical case， and then presented a general architecture and a technical model of the adaptive E-Learning system. At last， the paper demonstrated the new future of the adaptive E-Learning system.
