英文摘要 | China? s National Plan for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development (20102020) fully reflects the idea of promoting people' comprehensive development. The mid-term evaluation of this “Plan” found that some major indicators of the development of education and human resource are progressing well. In addition, the gross enrollment rate of three-year? s pre-school has fulfilled the target of the year of 2020, and the retention rate of nine-year’s compulsory education and higher education gross enrollment rate have almost reached the goal of the year of 2020' The degree of education popularization significantly increases as the gross enrollment rate at all levels have reached or exceeded some high income countries' The practice of education modernization in China has created enormous bonuses in human resources, innovation and opening up' The practice of China? s education modernization proves that the stronger the education provides the stronger the country becomes' It also indicates that giving priority to education for all people is a “lucrative” cause and a fundamental way to promote people? s comprehensive development. |
