英文摘要 | Managerialism embedded within teacher research in schools has profound impact on teacher research activities and teachers * professional identity as a researcher. By analyzing official documents and project reports collected from ofEcial websites, the study found that managerialism as an ideology had diffused in teacher research practices through various management strategies and measures implemented by educational administration. Managerialism in teacher research was a complex interplay of Neo- Taylorism,entrepreneurship and cultural management. This study showed that “official-expert marriage”,an alliance between bureaucratic authority and experts’ research knowledge,had been shaping teachers' role as educational policy imple-menters and technicians rather than researchers. Moreover, teachers, who were not perceived as professional in the research area, were forced into the professionalization process dominated by the bureaucracy and the experts. Lastly, this paper suggested some possible solutions to enhance teacher research in practice. |
