英國「國際學校獎」運作機制與功能之探究

A Study on the Operational Mechanism and Functions of British International School Award

本文以「英國國際學校獎」為研究主題，探討其運作機制與功能，以作為我國未來推動國際教育之借鏡。本文採用文件分析法，分析英國「國際學校獎」的相關政策文件、網路平台所提供的資訊、相關出版品、以及國際教育相關研究之論著。就研究發現而言，英國「國際學校獎」分為三個層級，認證標準著重在課程融入、國際交流與教師專業成長，其運作平台則為「線上學校」網站，該獎的運作具有獎勵與認證、整合資源、以及輔導學校實施國際教育的功能。基於本研究的發現，建議未來我國應建立單一全面的國際教育網路平臺，國際教育獎的規劃可採取分級的設計，並結合國內外非官方的力量推動國際教育。

The article attempts to inquire into the British scheme of “International School Award” (ISA) to understand its operational mechanism and functions. It is hoped that the understanding of the award scheme can shed light on the future development of Taiwan’s international education. In this article， document analysis is adopted to analyse related policy documents， the information provided on the websites， and related books， together with the reports of related studies. It is found that the ISA is structured with three awarding levels. There are three dimensions of reviewing criteria: curriculum integration， international exchange， and teachers’ professional development. The website of Schools Online is its operational platform.Generally speaking， the ISA has three functions: awarding and recognition， resource integration， and school guidance. Three suggestions are provided based on the findings: establishing a single comprehensive website as an international education platform， designing an international education award of different levels， and including nongovernmental resources in the implementation of international education.
